Mount Vernon Cloverbuds

The Mount Vernon Cloverbuds have been working hard this spring.  We are really embracing "learning by doing".  Each Cloverbud has been responsible for planning and conducting a meeting.  We have learned about soil, seeds, planting, and harvesting.  The kids decorated pots and planted seeds.  In addition, we have learned about sharing, rainbows, and "visited" Germany.  We also took our first field trip to one of our family's home and enjoyed a live blacksmith demonstration.  In July, we will be working on our projects for the fair in August as well as preparing for next year's activities.
